The classic trench coat inspired our city-appropriate Franz short coat. This is evident in the asymmetrical, protective front, which is reminiscent of the classic double-breasted jacket.
The shoulder yoke, the epaulettes, and, of course, the water-repellent materials we use to make it: Etaproof* for year-round use or the extra-durable C-Change* for colder days. Looking at Franz from behind, you'll notice important differences and typical features of our style: pleats on the back and two side slits for maximum arm freedom in the bike saddle, an adjustable back strap with reflective stripes. The turn-up cuffs are also lined with reflective material on the inside. This is only noticeable when the cuffs are folded down—simply Urban Utility.
Fit: Custom fit. Enough room for a jacket or midlayer. If you want Franz to be worn slim, please order one size smaller.
