EtaProof ® is developed by the Swiss weaving manufacturers Stotz. American cotton is spun, woven and equipped in Switzerland. The result is a highly breathable fabric which is used in almost all outdoor areas. As with most high-tech innovations, the fabric was originally used by the military: The successful history of Etaproof goes back to the Second World War, as a long established English weaving mill for the government was commissioned to develop a waterproof, warming and comfortable fabric for Hurricane pilots.

    Nach PaulEtaProof für den Sommer brauchte ich für Herbst/Winter etwas adäquates. Ich war wegen der Grösse unsicher, es sollte neben Hemd+Pullover+Sakko noch etwas Platz sein. Nach kurzer Recherche im Internet habe ich (leider) nur einen Shop in Hamburg gefunden, der Amity führen sollte. Dennoch eine kurze “Passformanfrage” an Herrn Beermann gesendet und noch am gleichen Tag (Sonntag!) die Antwort bekommen, dass es einen weiteren Händler in der Innenstadt gibt, der seine Ware führt. Glücklich, dort anprobieren zu können, habe ich mir Franz C_Change gekauft. Es soll Größe “S” sein, leider finde ich das Schild nicht im Innenfutter. Denn etwas Luft nach unten ist noch, Hemd/Pullover/dünne Softshelljacke – letzte wegen Wind etc.
    Im Fazit wieder ein Super-Produkt, was alles hält, was ich mir wünschte: warm, chique und im Business immer vorzeigbar, robust wirkend und sehr gut verarbeitet (alleine ein Knopf am Kragen hat die erste Benutzung nicht überstanden, ist aber wieder dran 😉 ). Und was für mich als JedenTagzurArbeiRadler wichtig ist: die Jacke scheint extrem wasserfest zu sein. Bereits einige Fahrten im strömenden Hamburger Regen sind absolviert und eine Regenjacke habe ich mir immer gespart, trotzdem unter der Jacke kein bisschen Wasser aufgetreten!

    Der Franz c_change fällt groß aus – ich habe ihn in Größe S. Doch umso größer ist der Tragespaß 🙂
    Ein ganz toller Mantel den ich mit Begeisterung trage!! ?
